Continuing Professional Development:
Please be aware that CPD is not a mandatory requirement for registration. The Board does, however, encourage all registered MRTs to participate in continuing education.

The Board believes continuing education in the practice of medical radiation technology will increase an MRT's levels of skill, knowledge and competence that will lead to improved quality, safety and standards of practice and demonstrate acceptance of the responsibility for their own professional development and improving their professional competence.

List of courses used by the Board to determine whether applicants were eligible to be registered in section 27 of the Act or were registered under the "grandfather" provisions of Schedule 2, Clause 3 when the Medical Radiation Technologists Act 2006 came into effect on 1 July 2007
